What is the Avida H2O Ultra and how does it work?
The Avida H2O Ultra is a countertop bottleless water purifier that connects directly to your cold water supply line — no bottles, no deliveries. Water passes through a 5-stage RO/UF + UV-C purification system that removes 99.9% of contaminants including lead, bacteria, PFAS, microplastics, and viruses, then dispenses it instantly at your chosen temperature.
Does it require a plumber to install?
No. The Avida H2O Ultra is designed for DIY installation and connects to a standard cold water supply line under your sink using the included fittings. Most customers are up and running within 25 minutes. A full installation video and written manual are available under Resources in the menu.
What contaminants does it remove?
The 5-stage filtration system removes: lead, chlorine, chloramines, fluoride, bacteria, viruses, PFAS/PFOA, microplastics, sediment, heavy metals, and 99.9% of total dissolved solids (TDS). UV-C sterilization provides an additional layer of biological purification.
What temperature range does the water come out?
Cold water: 41–53.6°F (5–12°C). Hot water: 104–212°F (40–100°C). Temperature is fully adjustable via the touchscreen interface. A child safety hot-water lock is included.
How often do I need to replace the filters?
Stage 1 filter: every 210 days or 2,100 liters. Stage 2 UF filter: every 210 days / 2,100 liters. Stage 2 RO membrane: every 360 days / 3,000 liters. The unit has a built-in filter life indicator that alerts you when replacement is due.
What filter packs are available?
We offer two replacement packs: the Standard Filter Pack (UF + ACF + PAC — $99) for everyday purification, and the Alkaline Filter Pack (UF + ACF + Alkaline — $99) which adds mineral-enriched, pH-balanced alkaline water.
What is the difference between the Ultra and the King?
The Avida H2O Ultra is a compact countertop unit available in White and Black — ideal for homes and home offices. The Avida H2O King is a full-height freestanding floor unit for office environments, with a larger capacity, higher flow rate (100 GPD RO), and ambient temperature option — ideal for teams of 10–75 people.
Is there a warranty?

Does it work with both RO and UF filtration?
Yes. The Ultra supports both UF (Ultrafiltration — high flow, no waste water) and RO (Reverse Osmosis — deepest filtration, removes dissolved solids with a small amount of drain water). The King uses RO at 100 GPD. Choose based on your water source and preference.
